Widyantini expressed this support while welcoming the visit of Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro at her office on Tuesday.
"We have discussed how to transform aspects related to duties and roles of lecturers and to strengthen the ministry to carry out the tasks in accordance with the president's direction," she noted in a statement received here Wednesday.
She outlined the government's ongoing efforts to complete lecturer governance by improving competency, distribution, welfare, and career advancement, as well as institutional strengthening at universities.
In line with Widyantini, Brodjonegoro emphasized that his staff is working swiftly to implement changes despite his ministry being separated from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
"We are here because we have to work fast, especially to find ways to increase the performance or achievements and abilities of our lecturers in universities," he remarked.
At the meeting, they also discussed strengthening human resources in the Ministry of Education and Science.
He emphasized the importance of recruiting skilled and experienced personnel to ensure swift and accurate execution of tasks.
