Sulaiman considers this a concrete manifestation of the government's support for local dairy farmers.
"We will not make it hard for farmers to import dairy cows to improve the local milk quality," he remarked on Thursday in Pasuruan, East Java, at the Movement for Increasing Domestic Fresh Milk Production event.
He also emphasized that no form of bribery must occur within the Ministry of Agriculture to serve the community, especially dairy farmers and cattle importers in the country.
"We will blacklist importers and fire staff who play around with people's livelihoods," he stressed.

According to Sulaiman, farmers can work directly with local dairy cattle importers, who will facilitate the Ministry of Agriculture's approval process.
"I will directly approve when farmers want to import cattle for dairy production. We do not play around with regulations and make things difficult for the people," he emphasized.
In addition, Sulaiman elaborated that his ministry plans to collaborate with several related parties, including regional banks and cooperatives, to formulate a loan scheme to help farmers finance their dairy cattle imports.
On that occasion, one of the representatives of livestock importers from Banyuwangi, Aminoto Kurniawan, explained that his side would not take a penny of profit in carrying out cattle imports for farmers in Indonesia, especially in the Pasuruan District area.
"We will sell at the same price as the buying price for our farmers," Kurniawan highlighted.
