Trailing 0-1 in the first half of the starting game, the Indonesian duo turned the tide in the second half, winning the game 1-2.
The second game ended with an identical scoreline in favor of Indonesia, with Faidan-Cahya scoring the first two goals in the first half.
As a result, the Indonesian team, which also comprised a reserve player, Akbar Paudie, recorded an even more prestigious feat after emerging as the champions of a similar competition at the regional level, the AFC eAsian Cup 2024 in Qatar, in February.
In September this year, an Indonesian team consisting of other players presented the country with the title of champion of the FIFAe World Cup featuring Football Manager.
In the console category of the FIFAe World Cup, Indonesia was placed in Group A alongside Malaysia, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, France, England, and India.
Team Indonesia earned a spot in the knockout stage after finishing second in the group's final standings below Team Spain against which it suffered its only defeat in the tournament.
In the quarter-finals, Indonesia got the best of Morocco in three games with a total score of 2-1.
The team then secured a place in the final following its two-game victory against Türkiye in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, in the mobile category, Indonesian representative Philip France finished his FIFAe World Cup journey after suffering a defeat against a Thai player in the quarter-finals.
