This announcement was made by Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, through a brief message received here.
His statement corroborates remarks made on Wednesday (January 14) by Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani, who indicated the head of state's intent to be present at the national event.
According to Roeslani, the upcoming consolidation conference stems from an agreement between Anindya Novyan Bakrie and Arsjad Rasjid, who were involved in a dispute over Kadin's chairmanship last year.
"The two (Bakrie and Rasjid) have reached an agreement. We are just facilitating the meeting. God willing, President Prabowo Subianto will directly attend the event tomorrow," he remarked in Jakarta on Wednesday night.
The minister, who concurrently serves as chairman of the Honorary Council of Kadin, has signed invitation letters sent to 35 chairpersons of the organization's provincial branches throughout Indonesia.
Based on the invitation letters, Bakrie is set to be inaugurated as chairman of Kadin for the 2024-2029 period during the national conference, succeeding Rasjid, who has held the post since 2021.
Meanwhile, Rasjid will be inducted as chairman of the Advisory Council of Kadin for the next five years.
Kadin elected Bakrie as its new chairman during its Extraordinary National Conference held on September 14 last year in Jakarta.
Later that month, the chairman-elect highlighted his determination to embrace and collaborate with all members of Kadin to enhance the organization's cohesiveness.
