In a press release received in Jakarta on Monday, he noted that President Prabowo Subianto's administration is dedicated to improving the health of Indonesian young talents while pursuing educational reforms to support that goal.
Patria then emphasized the importance of the Free Nutritious Meals program, which he described as a crucial initiative designed to improve the nutritional intake of those from younger generations.
He expressed confidence that by fulfilling the nutritional needs of youngsters, the government could nurture smarter talents expected to lead Indonesia to advancements and a brighter future.
Shifting attention to the education sector, the deputy minister highlighted that the government has been striving to boost the adoption of digital technologies among children, including by devising a plan to integrate relevant subjects into primary and secondary education curricula.
"He (President Prabowo) is genuinely concerned about the importance of adopting digital technologies, believing that they offer far-reaching benefits. Moreover, he is keen to create a safe, healthy, and productive digital environment," he affirmed.
The official further indicated that the government is working on a regulation aimed at enhancing Indonesia's investment attractiveness among global technology companies.
"These efforts are expected to solidify Indonesia's bargaining power in the global setting and integrate the country into the world's supply chains of technology products," he stated.
On Friday (January 24), the Komdigi Ministry introduced the Indonesian Digital Society Index (IMDI) 2025, which serves as an instrument for assessing Indonesian citizens' digital capabilities.
During the launch event held in Bekasi, West Java, Angga Raka Prabowo, another deputy minister of Komdigi, stated that the index reflects the government's commitment to accelerating the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia by collaborating with all relevant stakeholders.
