Speaking in Bogor on Wednesday, Yusuf Permana, the deputy for protocol, press, and media at Prabowo's secretariat, informed the media that the welcome ceremony for Erdogan would commence at 11 a.m. local time.
"Thereafter, the national anthems of the two countries will be played," he remarked.
Furthermore, Prabowo and Erdogan will witness a cannon salute before inspecting the ceremonial troops at the palace.
The two leaders will then proceed indoors, with the Turkish president introducing ministers and other members of the delegation he brings along to Indonesia.
"The agenda will begin with a tête-à-tête meeting, or a private meeting between Mr President Prabowo Subianto and Mr President Erdogan," Permana revealed.
A bilateral meeting between two delegations will then follow to discuss strategic issues and to sign agreed-upon documents of cooperation.
After the meeting, the two heads of state are set to issue statements to the press.
"Today's series of activities will conclude with a luncheon in the courtyard of the Bogor Presidential Palace," the official stated.
President Recep Erdogan, accompanied by his spouse Emine Erdogan, landed at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta, on Tuesday (February 11) at around 6:30 p.m. local time.
The welcome ceremony proceeded smoothly despite heavy rain in the Indonesian capital city.
President Prabowo, wearing a black suit and a black peci hat, stood in the rain without an umbrella as he waited for his Turkish counterpart and First Lady Emine as they disembarked from their plane.
The two leaders then greeted each other with a handshake, underscoring their close bond.
Under the cover of two umbrellas, Prabowo, Erdogan, and the First Lady walked past the honor guards and entered a designated official car, where the Indonesian leader sat next to the Turkish president.
