Jakarta (ANTARA) - No additional social assistance will be provided during the Ramadan holy month since data shows that the assistance for the first three months of 2025 has been disbursed, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf has said.

"We have distributed the social assistance for social protection in the first three months (of 2025). It has reached more than 90 percent," he informed here on Friday.

He said that in the second quarter of 2025, social assistance will be distributed based on the National Integrated Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN).

"Please understand if there are beneficiary families who have received assistance, then (they will) no longer receive assistance," he added.

However, he informed that people can appeal this through the Cek Bansos application or via neighborhood heads in their areas by providing evidence or attachments.

Currently, the data is being tested by Statistics Indonesia (BPS).

The minister said that the provision of social assistance based on DTSEN will involve collaboration with philanthropies.

The Ministry of Social Affairs is currently working to strengthen the validity of DTSEN by conducting random testing to ensure that the data on beneficiaries of social assistance and community empowerment programs is accurate.

The random testing of DTSEN will involve more than 33 thousand Family Hope Program (PKH) assistants across Indonesia. The Ministry of Social Affairs is working with the BPS to provide training to the assistants in checking and updating data in the field.
