Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Aminuddin Ma'ruf stated that the Hinduism Dharma values are part of the foundation for developing ethical and sustainable leadership rooted in a strong spiritual culture and high integrity.

Speaking at the 2025 Dharma Santi BUMN summit event here on Sunday, Ma'ruf explained that Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir has emphasized that the SOE transformation should not only be about systems and structures, but also about work culture.

Transformation in work culture must also uphold ethics, transparency, and the noble values of the nation in every policy-making process, he added.

"In this context, the Dharma values are very relevant as an essential foundation for ethical and sustainable leadership," he said.

In the event, he invited the Hindu community, especially the young people, to participate in shaping the country's future leadership toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

"With the values of Dharma, I believe you can make a real contribution toward the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045," he remarked.

He is optimistic that the Dharma teachings can serve as an important asset in strengthening the character and real contributions of the Hindu youth in nation-building amidst the increasingly complex global challenges.

"We believe that the Hindu community, particularly its younger generation, has a strategic role in becoming part of the nation's future leadership," he said.

In commemoration of the Nyepi Day this year, which fell on March 29, 2025, the SOE Hindu community organized the Dharma Santi BUMN 2025.

This activity was aimed to motivate the Hindu youth to develop their strategic roles as agents of change through innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity, while upholding the values of Dharma.
