Signed by several Red and White Cabinet ministers, the MoUs and pact cover cooperation in defense, research and education, religious affairs, and agriculture.
The MoU signing was part of the bilateral meeting between Indonesia and Jordan led by the two leaders at Al Husseiniya Palace.
The three Indonesian ministers who signed the MoUs and cooperation pact are Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar.
In a post on his Instagram account @prabowo, President Prabowo said that the cooperation marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Jordan, which will be commemorated this year.
"This cooperation is expected to strengthen the friendship of the two countries that has existed for 75 years and promote mutual progress in the future," he wrote in his post.
In addition to the bilateral meeting between the governments of Indonesia and Jordan, President Prabowo and King Abdullah II also held a tête-à-tête meeting on Monday.
Jordan is the last stop in Prabowo's five-nation Middle East tour, which started on April 9, 2025. He visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Türkiye, Egypt, and Qatar earlier.
The President is scheduled to return to Jakarta after wrapping up his visit to Amman.
At a press conference in Jakarta before leaving for the tour, President Prabowo said that one of the goals of his tour was to consult with other nations on the situation in Gaza and Indonesia's plan to be more active in helping the Palestinian people.
