The first strategy is improving the data system, he informed.
"The President has initiated data improvement, which is already being carried out and measured by Statistics Indonesia (BPS)," he expounded on Friday.
After the BPS publishes the single data, his party will conduct a verification to confirm the actual number of people living in extreme poverty.
"We will update it. There are still around seven million people whose whereabouts are unknown or whose identity number is no longer active. We are trying to identify them," Yusuf disclosed.
He said that data certainty is vital to distribute on-target social assistance to the poor.

"We prioritize the accuracy for these assistance beneficiaries," he added.
The second strategy initiated by Prabowo is the rollout of the Sekolah Rakyat program.
Sekolah Rakyat is a free education initiative launched by the government to improve access to education and reduce poverty.
In the initial stage, the government plans to open 53 Sekolah Rakyat during the 2025–2026 academic year with funding from the state budget and the private sector.
The recruitment of teachers for the program—civil servants, contract teachers, and graduates of the Teacher Professional Education Program—is already underway.
According to Yusuf, the President believes in the power of equal education access to eradicate poverty.
He said that the two strategies—the accuracy of data on the number of social assistance recipients and fulfilling the rights of children from poor families, especially those from the extremely poor category, to access education—are considered to be interconnected.
"Essentially, the President asks for useful programs for the community. The data must be accurate, along with continuous updates. We must be able to suppress the poverty rate," he added.
