The minister informed that Rp3 million (around US$182.58) in financial aid will be provided per semester to each teacher, whose total number has reached 12 thousand so far.
After the 2025 National Education Day commemoration in Bogor, West Java, on Friday, he said that the educational assistance will be provided to teachers holding an associate's degree who are pursuing a bachelor's degree.
In addition, his ministry is also ready to provide educational assistance to teachers who have never attended higher education.

He disclosed that the ministry is offering two options to make it easier for teachers to pursue their education while fulfilling their teaching duties, namely, cooperation with universities and online lectures.
"For teachers who have never attended college, who will start studying from semester 1, the scheme can be in the form of cooperation with universities or through online lectures," he said.
Educational assistance for teachers is one of the four education programs launched on this year's National Education Day, besides school revitalization, education digitalization, and assistance for contract-based teachers.
Minister Mu'ti informed that 11,440 schools will participate in the school revitalization program for which his ministry has obtained Rp16.9 trillion (around US$1.02 billion) via the transfer of funds from the Ministry of Public Works.
The digitalization of education will involve the provision of smart boards or interactive whiteboards to schools in several regions.
Meanwhile, assistance of Rp300 thousand (around US$18.25) per month will be provided to contract teachers.
