"We are optimistic that this cooperation will benefit both our nations and our peoples," Prabowo stated during a luncheon with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the State Palace in Jakarta on Sunday.
Prabowo extended his appreciation for Premier Li Qiang's visit to Indonesia, noting that it underscored the significance of Indonesia-China relations.
The Head of State shared that he and Premier Li had engaged in productive discussions, which resulted in several agreements across various fields of cooperation.
According to the President, this cooperation will not only benefit Indonesia and China but also contribute to regional peace in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific.
"More importantly, it will bring peace to the entire Southeast Asian region, and even the Asia-Pacific. So once again, thank you for Your Excellency's visit," he remarked.
Prabowo also invited delegates from both countries to raise their glasses in a toast, offering respect to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, and wishing for the continued well-being and prosperity of China.
Prabowo officially received Chinese Premier Li Qiang for his visit at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Sunday, as part of the Premier's three-day visit to Indonesia. During this visit, four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in the economic sector were signed in the presence of both leaders.
