Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk announced the completion of the building and complex for the Coordinating Ministry 3 (Kemenko 3) in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

Operations Director I of Waskita Karya, Ari Asmoko, confirmed that the project, valued at approximately Rp902.6 billion, is currently in the maintenance phase and fully ready for occupancy.

“This Coordinating Ministry 3 complex has been developed as a vital facility and infrastructure to support government operations in IKN. Civil servants (ASN) will be the initial occupants as IKN enters its early development stages,” Ari noted in a statement issued in Jakarta on Friday.

The complex comprises four completed towers, complemented by a multifunction hall and a second walkway bridge spanning 254 meters.

Designed to accommodate up to 1,375 civil servants, the complex also features parking facilities capable of holding 120 cars and an additional 120 bicycles.

Earlier, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, accompanied by Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, conducted an on-site inspection of the Nusantara Capital City development area, which covers parts of North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara districts in East Kalimantan on Thursday (May 29).

During the visit, the vice president personally reviewed the site and stressed the vital role of government infrastructure readiness as the cornerstone for future state governance.

The government is targeting a phased completion of all core and supporting infrastructure to facilitate the relocation of government functions to IKN.

This visit marked a significant moment to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders to ensure that IKN’s development symbolizes Indonesia’s progress and embodies the nation’s spirit of cooperation.

Vice President Gibran also highlighted the visit’s role in ensuring the ongoing development aligns with planned timelines and supports IKN’s transformation into a modern, smart, and sustainable center of government for the future.
