He then asked state civil servants and OSH service providers to lead the way in providing professional services.
Furthermore, he underlined that the integrity pact is not symbolic, but legally binding. Its implementation will be continuously monitored and evaluated.
"This signing must be followed up with consistent supervision. Any violation of integrity values will be handled firmly according to the rules," he said.
He expressed the hope that the step would help build an ethical work culture that is free from intervention by vested interests. He added that his ministry is seeking to create a work culture that rejects bribery and other unethical practices.
Director of registration and examination of state officials' wealth reports at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Herda Helmijaya, expressed his support for efforts to create clean, transparent, and accountable business and public service environments.
"This is a good initial step and must be followed by improvements in the public service system," he said.
He also emphasized the importance of business players' commitment. According to him, corruption eradication efforts must involve all parties actively.
"With commitment, it is hoped that business players can remind each other and not tolerate unethical practices in carrying out their business activities," he explained.
