Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Transportation is opening collaboration opportunities with various parties to accelerate the development of efficient, environment-friendly, and sustainable green transportation infrastructure across Indonesia.

"Transportation infrastructure development is one of the main priorities included in the Asta Cita missions," Head of the Public Communication and Information Bureau at the ministry, Ernita Titis Dewi, stated at the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 here on Thursday.

She noted that the ICI 2025 serves as a forum for her ministry to discuss collaboration in building sustainable transportation with stakeholders in the transportation sector and policymakers.

"This forum is also an opportunity for the Ministry of Transportation to meet potential investors who are interested in investing in Indonesia's transportation sector," Dewi remarked.

At the forum organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development in Jakarta on June 11-12, 2025, the Ministry of Transportation also presented several ideas for future transportation infrastructure development.

Dewi noted that for the ICI 2025, her ministry adopted the theme of "One Connected Nation: Integrating Land, Sea, and Air Infrastructure," reflecting the role of transportation infrastructure as the backbone of unity, economic equity, and sustainable development.

Through participation in the forum, the ministry highlighted that holistic connectivity involves building a comprehensive transportation ecosystem that drives economic growth, promotes equitable development, and improves people's welfare.

The Ministry of Transportation has made significant strides in digital transformation to advance transportation services, including launching an e-ticket system, real-time fleet monitoring, and an integrated cross-sectoral data platform to boost transparency, efficiency, and coordination.

The ICI 2025 was opened by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.

Minister Yudhoyono underlined the importance of infrastructure as the main foundation for inclusive, sustainable, and crisis-resilient growth.
