Parigi, C Sulawesi (ANTARA) - The search for victims of the landslide that struck the mountainous Talenga area in Tirtanagaya Village, Parigi Moutong District, Central Sulawesi, on June 21 was officially concluded on Thursday.

According to Muh Rizal, Head of the Palu Office of the Search and Rescue Agency, seven bodies were recovered from the landslide, which was triggered by heavy rainfall over the weekend.

Four of the victims were found on Wednesday, June 25, at 8:00 a.m. local time, he stated.

The victims have been identified as Sahrat (45), Ijal (28), Aruna (28), Subran (5), Safrudin E. Majalah (36), Riska Jumi (26), and Rapi (14).

All the bodies have been evacuated and laid to rest, thanks to strong collaboration among the Search and Rescue Agency, police, military, disaster mitigation agency, local government, and the community, he added.
