He made the statement during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Integrated Electric Vehicle Battery Industry Ecosystem project by the ANTAM-IBC-CBL Consortium in the Artha Industrial Hills (AIH) area, Karawang District, West Java, on Sunday.
“I thank my team, my cabinet. Everyone is working well and fast. Those who cannot keep up, we will leave them by the side of the road,” Prabowo said.
He stressed the importance of accelerating government work, especially in the implementation of downstream industrialization programs.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the electric vehicle battery industry ecosystem project is part of this national downstream acceleration agenda.

The president highlighted the project as proof of the government’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with foreign stakeholders, such as those from China.
He described the project as a major step and a breakthrough in the development of renewable and environmentally friendly energy, aligning with global aspirations.
Prabowo also emphasized the importance of international cooperation amid global dynamics. He affirmed Indonesia's stance of choosing collaboration and peace as the foundation of its development.
“Indonesia will always choose collaboration, the middle path, and friendship over hostility. A thousand friends are too few; one enemy is too many," he said.
The project is developed from the upstream to downstream levels and consists of six sub-projects, five of which are located in East Halmahera, North Maluku, and one in Karawang.
As part of the National Strategic Projects, the investment is valued at US$5.9 billion, or around Rp95 trillion, and covers an area of 3,023 hectares. It is expected to create up to eight thousand jobs and support the development of 18 infrastructure projects, including a multifunctional port.
