“The UN General Assembly is coming up in September, and God willing, the president will be there,” Nasbi remarked during a press briefing at the PCO office in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The PCO head stated that the president’s upcoming attendance reflects Indonesia’s ongoing active participation in various multilateral forums during his term in office.
In just under nine months of his administration, Prabowo has already taken part in several major international summits, including the G20 Summit, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, BRICS Summit, ASEAN Summit, D-8 Summit, and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
“The president has already attended nearly all of the world’s most important forums. Our government has played an active role and received significant respect from the international community,” Nasbi stated.

The PCO head further noted that Indonesia’s active participation in global forums has not only elevated its international standing but is also expected to generate concrete benefits for national interests.
He emphasized that Indonesia’s engagement in multilateral meetings has opened up strategic opportunities in investment and trade, which he believes could help boost employment opportunities and drive domestic economic growth.
“We hope that under the president’s leadership, Indonesia can play a vital role on the global stage—not just to be recognized but also to bring great benefits to our nation,” he affirmed.
