"No single ministry can work alone. The Coordinating Ministry of GPA will serve as the orchestrator. However, true synergy can only be achieved when all ministries, local governments, universities, and businesses play their roles harmoniously," AHY stated in a video message during the National Technical Working Meeting on Transmigration Affairs in Denpasar, Bali, on Monday.
He highlighted that transformation in transmigration areas is key to creating new economic centers while also ensuring the welfare of both transmigrants and local communities.
"We are developing integrated economic zones in transmigration areas, not just through building roads and bridges, but also by fostering sustainable and livable economic and social ecosystems,” AHY stated.
He further underscored the importance of mutual cooperation, as infrastructure development will continue but must be driven by synergy among ministries, in collaboration with local governments, and strategic partnerships with private investors.
"We are shifting from a model where the government finances everything to one where the government leads and harnesses all potentials," Minister AHY remarked.
On this occasion, he also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Transmigration for its commitment and efforts in opening up greater opportunities for synergy between central and regional authorities.
"Let us realize transmigration as a driving force that can transform discretion into frontline leadership under the guidance of Minister of Transmigration M. Iftitah Sulaiman," AHY remarked.
AHY expressed hope that the technical working meeting in Bali would generate significant ideas and strategic steps to strengthen the role of transmigration in promoting equitable development and welfare of the Indonesian people.
