Pangkalpinang (ANTARA) - Bangka Belitung Islands Governor Hidayat Arsani, along with six Chinese company leaders, inspected the construction site of the Putat Belinyu export port to reaffirm investor commitment to Bangka District.

"Today, we are here with Chinese investors, inspecting locations that will become the development points for the export port on Putat Belinyu Beach," Arsani stated in Pangkalpinang on Wednesday.

He explained that the investors present to inspect the construction site of the export port on Putat Belinyu Beach, Bangka District, represent PT CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company Ltd, PT Hebei Port Group Co Ltd, PT CCCC Hehai Group, PT Talenta Pty Ltd, PT NOAH Development Pty Ltd, and PT Hai Yin.

"This is their third visit, which shows they are serious about investing in building an export-scale port in this area," he affirmed.

He expressed confidence that the success rate for constructing the export port on Putat Beach has reached 99 percent, which will boost economic growth and improve the welfare of the local population.

"I encourage everyone to pray for Bangka Belitung's economic progress and for the creation of new jobs, which is certainly a great hope for the people of this region," he stated.

He emphasized that the successful development of this export port is a major achievement and represents an opportunity that should be fully utilized.

"Let us pray together that we will attract significant investment and that our economic growth will increase," he remarked.
