"We will accelerate various downstream projects with an investment value of around US$38 billion," he stated.
He made the statement while delivering a State Address to present the Government's Introduction or Statement on the 2026 State Budget (APBN) Bill and its Financial Note at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.
The Head of State stated that the downstream projects will cover various sectors, including mineral mining, coal downstreaming, agriculture, fisheries, and also new and renewable energy (EBT).
Furthermore, President Prabowo said that efforts to accelerate global investment and trade are inseparable from the State Budget as a catalyst, as well as cooperation between the Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency and the private sector.
"We will accelerate global investment and trade. The APBN serves as a catalyst, and the roles of Danantara and the private sector must be further strengthened as driving forces for the economy," he said.
Through Danantara, he stated that the country would be able to strengthen productive investment and make Indonesia stronger in the global supply chain.
"Professionalism, competence, and integrity will be the foundation, supported by good governance, transparency, and accountability. This is the momentum for Indonesia to become a global economic power," he underlined.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) held a Plenary Session to open the First Session of the DPR for the 2025-2026 Session Year at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.
During the event, President Prabowo Subianto delivered a State Address to present the Government's Introduction or Statement on the 2026 State Budget Bill and its Financial Note.
The session was attended by 473 members from all DPR factions. DPR Speaker Puan Maharani opened and closed the session.
The event was also attended by institutional leaders and ministers from the Red and White Cabinet.
