Riefky stated that the Business Literacy program was carried out in Bekasi, Surabaya, and Depok previously. According to him, the initiative strengthens foundational aspects necessary for creative economy development.
In the event, they offer relevant materials and facilitate in-depth interactions between the mentors and participants. The participants showed great enthusiasm in learning about business management, funding, and challenges in running a business in the digital era, he elaborated.
"Through business literacy, we want to ensure that creative economy players in Pacitan not only thrive but also grow, develop, and become a propeller of regional economic improvement," the ministry's director of funding, investment access development, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana noted.
Anujuprana said that in the first session, the participants learn about the basics, like business literacy, practicing caution while putting investment, and illegal online lenders.
On the second session, participants learn about practical aspects, such as strategies, entrepreneurship, business management, and financial management, he added.
His administration is committed to educating people through collaborative efforts in a bid to create great talents across the nation, so as to aid them in pursuing economic freedom and self-sufficiency.
The ministry is optimistic that the program can benefit many creative economy players from many regions, so they are ready to address challenges in the business world, get better access to funding, and pursue digital transformation for their businesses.
