Febrie Adriansyah, head of the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH) and Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, said 915,206 hectares have been handed over to government ministries.
Of that, around 833,000 hectares were allocated to state-owned agribusiness firm PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), while 81,793 hectares within Tesso Nilo National Park have been reforested.

The remaining 2.39 million hectares are under the task force’s control and pending administrative transfer.
“We are finalizing the legal paperwork and will soon hand over the remaining land,” Adriansyah said.
He added that the task force continues to take action against other illegal plantations still operating in forest areas.
The Satgas PKH was established under a presidential regulation signed by President Prabowo Subianto on January 21, 2025, with a mandate to restore three million hectares of forest land.
