“KPP and FLPP represent the government’s real support for the housing sector under President Prabowo’s leadership,” Sirait said in a statement issued here on Friday.
The FLPP is a government housing finance subsidy program aimed at helping low-income communities purchase homes through subsidized mortgage schemes.
Managed by BP Tapera, the FLPP program has been implemented since 2010 and continues to evolve to meet public demand for affordable housing.
The government provides low-cost funds to participating banks, enabling buyers to obtain houses with low interest rates, light down payments, and longer repayment periods.
According to data from the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera), as of November 3, 2025, the realization of FLPP distribution reached 213,630 housing units, equivalent to Rp26.51 trillion or around US$1.5 billion.
Meanwhile, data from the ministry showed that the distribution of KPP housing program loans reached Rp267.1 billion or around US$16 million as of November 4, 2025.
Meanwhile, the KPP is implemented under Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Regulation No. 13 of 2025 and Ministerial Regulation No. 13 of 2025.
KPP is a working capital or investment financing credit provided to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), both individuals and business entities, to support the government’s priority programs in the housing sector.
Eligible KPP recipients include MSMEs, housing developers, construction service providers or contractors, and building material traders.
KPP funds can also be used by individuals or MSMEs to purchase, build, or renovate houses that support business activities.
