Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Tourism Minister and relevant institutions are set to release the Indonesia Tourism Outlook 2025/2026, outlining projections, trends, key sector issues, and findings on the implementation of quality tourism for the 2025/2026 period.

“With a collaborative approach, the report presents a bright prospect for the tourism sector, which is increasingly moving towards quality and sustainability,” said Deputy Minister for Resources and Institutions Martini M. Paham, in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Martini explained that the Indonesia Tourism Outlook 2025/2026 is the result of a collaboration between the Tourism Ministry, the National Development Planning Ministry/Bappenas, and Bank Indonesia.

The document underscores policymakers' joint commitment to strengthening national tourism development and provides a strategic environmental analysis that highlights the principles of quality, sustainable, inclusive, and responsible tourism.

Martini hopes the document will serve as a strong foundation for navigating decision-making and policy formulation in the national tourism sector.

The launch of the document will be part of the Wonderful Indonesia Outlook 2025 event, held on November 20, 2025, in Jakarta.

Furthermore, Wonderful Indonesia Outlook 2025 will also feature the Tourism Outlook Forum, a discussion space that will bring together stakeholders in the tourism sector to share their views on the prospects for Indonesian tourism in 2026.

The forum carries the theme "Quality Sustains Future," which emphasizes the importance of formulating a direction for quality and sustainable tourism development.

"With the event, we hope to foster stronger collaboration between the government, tourism industry, academics, communities, and the media to achieve high-quality, inclusive, and competitive tourism," she said.
