The mtep aims to consolidate data held by ministries and agencies to support evidence-based decision-making and policy formulation.
"The system will become a window for the Indonesian people to see where Indonesia stands, what the situation is, and what policies the government is implementing regarding human rights development in Indonesia,” Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai said at the kick-off event.
The program launch is part of the Prabowo-Gibran's Astacita missions and the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan, supported by ministerial regulations governing Human Rights One Data.
According to Pigai, the system will offer open access to comprehensive data across key pillars, including respect, protection, promotion, enforcement, and fulfillment of rights.
He said the platform will feature data from the police, military, civil institutions, ministries, provinces, districts, and cities, as well as information on agrarian issues, conflicts, potential conflicts, and related policies, including forestry.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Mugiyanto said the HAM One Data is a strategic step to strengthen national human rights data governance by integrating and standardizing information from central to regional levels.
It seeks to address fragmented datasets that have hindered efforts to promote and protect human rights. He added that the platform is expected to reinforce human rights as a pillar of national development aligned with the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
Separately, the ministry's Data and Information Center Head Linda Pratiwi said the government has prepared a five-year roadmap for HAM One Data.
This year focuses on regulatory frameworks, initial coordination, and introduction of a system prototype. Next year will include data collection, validation, and consolidation at the national level.
