"We will strive to maintain a stable supply of fuel, electricity, and internet networks," he said during his introduction to the Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday.
The head of state also requested improvements in the quality of service at rest areas, ports, airports, and all train stations to support the smooth flow of travelers during Eid homecoming.
Prabowo also reminded the public to avoid overcrowding at various transportation service points.
Furthermore, he asked the relevant ministers to ensure a stable and secure food supply and stable prices during Eid al-Fitr.
"This is the second Eid al-Fitr of our administration. The Coordinating Minister for Food, the Minister of Trade, and the Minister of Agriculture must ensure a stable and secure food supply and maintain prices," he emphasized.
In addition, he requested Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana to actively visit various tourist destinations and encourage the public to promote tourism potential in various regions across the country.
According to the president, the current global situation is characterized by uncertainty and crises affecting several countries. Nevertheless, he said economic activity must continue and urged the public to remain calm, noting that Indonesia still has the strength and capacity to keep things running.
“We still have the strength and capacity to keep life moving. The situation remains under control,” he emphasized.
Prabowo also called on all ministries and institutions to make thorough preparations for Eid al-Fitr to ensure this year's homecoming travel is smooth, safe, and comfortable.
"We assure you that this year's homecoming will proceed smoothly, safely, comfortably, and joyfully. Prioritize road safety and prepare everything thoroughly," he remarked.
