It was explained that the briefing began with a report from TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.
The President’s briefing session served as the highlight of the event and was greeted enthusiastically by the TNI unit commanders.
The commanders immediately sang patriotic songs “Maju Tak Gentar” and “Garuda Pancasila” as they welcomed President Prabowo into the hall.
The lively atmosphere turned solemn when the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” was sung together by all participants.
Afterwards, participants sang the TNI March, followed by the respective service marches of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
From photos released by the Presidential Secretariat, President Prabowo was seen returning salutes and taking notes before his briefing, which he briefly showed to Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
The event continued with a joint prayer as a form of hope for smooth duties and dedication of the TNI to the nation and state.
Moreover, the Presidential Secretariat, in its official statement, explained that the presence of the ministers and state officials in the event “reflects strong synergy between the defence sector and government elements in maintaining national stability.”
After the briefing session, President Prabowo had lunch with all participants, namely the TNI unit commanders.
“The luncheon with President Prabowo became a symbol of closeness between the leader and field commanders, while also strengthening cohesion and a spirit of togetherness in carrying out state duties,” the Presidential Secretariat said in its statement.
