He delivered the statement in a speech marking National Education Day (Hardiknas) here on Saturday.
“A popular adage says that if you want to advance a nation, you must improve education. If you want to improve education, you must start from within the classroom. Deep learning is an approach designed to achieve the fundamental goals of national education,” Mu’ti said.
He noted that, in line with Prabowo Subianto’s Astacita vision, education is a collective effort to develop high-quality, resilient Indonesian human resources and to realize an advanced, prosperous, and dignified nation.
Based on this foundation, the ministry has adopted the deep learning approach as a priority program to improve education quality and achieve national education objectives.
Mu’ti said the ministry has established five strategic policies, namely revitalizing education units and accelerating digital learning, improving teacher competence, strengthening the character of school communities, enhancing students’ literacy and numeracy, and expanding access to education.
The dynamic human silhouette in the logo represents a community that is ready to actively participate and contribute to realizing the vision of #QualityEducationForAll.
“This reflects the revitalization of education units through improved infrastructure, a stronger school ecosystem, and equitable education services across Indonesia,” he said.
He added that the dominant blue color in the logo symbolizes trust, intelligence, professionalism, and a bright future.
Meanwhile, the curved line surrounding the logo represents progress, protection, and continuity.
