Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Manpower is committed to providing career continuity for National Internship alumni as an effort to bridge the absorption of alumni into the job market, both domestically and internationally.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli, in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday, said that it is being implemented through a digital service transition from National Internship or MagangHub to KarirHub, under the SIAPkerja ecosystem.

"Through this transition, they not only just complete a learning program at a company but are instead directed to a fully integrated job market platform with thousands of trusted job openings," he said.

Through KarirHub, he said, MagangHub alumni can directly enter their portfolios and real-world experiences gained during their internships into their professional profiles.

The job matching system on KarirHub automatically matches the alumni's competencies with the specific needs of recruiting companies.

He added that to expand the workforce, the ministry has also integrated this system with various leading private job portals such as Glints, Jobstreet, Kalibrr, as well as KitaLulus.

"The experiences during an internship are a very valuable selling point for companies," he stated.

"Participation in this National Internship has been proven to increase the opportunities for young talent to be noticed by professional recruiters, expand communication access with various national-scale companies, and also simplify the whole process of job application," he added.

The process transition to KarirHub can be completed through the SIAPkerja ecosystem on the official website https://karirhub.kemnaker.go.id/. It begins with digital account registration and then completes a personal profile.

Then, users are directed to select their desired job, upload their best CV files, and include their experience from the MagangHub program.

Once their profile is ready, they can immediately look for and apply for available job openings.
