Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Sunday expressed condolences to the family of Sudwikatmono who passed away in Singapore on Saturday.

Presidential Spokesman Julian Aldrian Pasha said on Sunday that the president would make a visit of condolence at the mourning house in the Pondok Indah housing complex at noon on Saturday.

"Yes, the president will pay his last respect," the presidential spokesman said.
Sudwikatmono, who was also an Indonesian film industry icon, died at Singapore Mount Elizabeth hospital from kidney failured and accompanying complications Saturday at the age of 76.

Sudwikatmono, a cousin of former late president Soeharto, had been receiving treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore since being admitted there a month ago before passing away at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.

He is survived by a wife, four children and eight grandchildren.

His remains was flown to Jakarta Saturday afternoon and laid out for viewing at his home in Bukit Golf Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, before being buried at Sandiago Hills cemetery in Karawang, West Java.
