The new measure for accessing data from the ministries and state agencies and institutions was revealed by Hadi Purnomo after the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between BPK and some ministries.
The MoU signed were for information system handling on data access in the framework of state finance audit and responsibilities.
Purnomo added that BPK will support a drive for creating the maximum management and responsibility of a transparent and accountable state finance.
At the same event, Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono said the government expected the signing of the MoU to help expedite the work of BPK because of the information technology approach.
The ministries which signed the MoU were the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for People`s welfare, and the ministries of Transportation, Religious Affairs and State Research and Technology.
In addition, state agencies and institutions which signed the memorandum were National Planning Development Agency (Bappenas), national SAR agency, general elections commission, and upstream oil and gas regulating agency.
Previously, BPK has signed a similar MoU with ministries of energy and natural resources, agriculture, forestry, marine affairs and fisheries, public works, health and national agency for narcotics.
