The visiting Indonesian president will alternately receive the four business players, namely Anil Ambani of Ambani Group, Ratan Tata of Tata Group, Prasad Konetu of Trimex Group, and Khrisna Reddy and Sanjay of GVK Group at 8.30 am local time or 10 am Western Indonesia Standard (WIB) time at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi.
After receiving the leading business players, President Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono will head for Rashtrapati Bavan presidential palace for a state welcoming ceremony, led by Indian President Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil.
Next, the Indonesian head of state will pay a homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, some 4 kilometers from Janpath in New Delhi.
President Yudhoyono`s bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be held at noon on Tuesday and then to witness the signing of 16 memorandum of understandings (MoUs) between Indonesia and India in the field of economy, politics, education, and technology.
Then, the president will attend a business forum with around 500 Indian businessmen, grouped in Association of Chambers (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of India Industry (CII), and Federation of Indian Chambers on Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
After that, President Yudhoyono will receive a courtesy call from Indian Opposition Party Chairman Sushma Swaraj, Indian Vice President Shri M Hamid Ansari, and Indian Coalition Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday afternoon.
Finally on Tuesday evening, President Yudhoyono will return to Rashtrapati Bavan Palace attend a state banquet hosted by his Indian counterpart.
President Yudhoyono is on his two-day visit to India from Jan 25-26, 2011 at the invitation of Indian government to attend the Republic Day of India on Wednesday.
The Republic Day Day is one of the three national holidays of India and the greatest festival celebrated in the country. It is celebrated every year on January 26, in New Delhi with great pomp, fanfare and pageant.
