"We are now working hard in making preparations to host and make a success two major events, namely the Asean Summit in 2012 and APEC in 2013," Anak Agung said here on Thursday.
In his remarks about the preparations, the district head said the supporting facilities which would be developed in the Jimbaran area were still hampered by regulations on Bali`s spatial master plan.
"The Bali`s and Bandung master plans have not yet been finished so that it poses difficulties for the development of various facilities for the events," he said.
He pointed out several facilities that were needed including the construction of the Convention Bali International Park which would be developed by PT Jimbaran Hijau.(*)
