Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono arrived home at 3.15 pm after he had conducted a six-day visit to India and Switzerland since January 24, 2011.

The president, accompanied by Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and entourage arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma airport aboard a Garuda presidential plane after flying 10 hours from Switzerland with a transit at a Dubai airport.

In India the president attended the Indian Republic Day, held a number of meetings with Indian officials and witnessed the signing of MoUs on economic cooperation.

In Switzerland, Yudhoyono attended the World Economic Forum in Davos and acted as a speaker at the forum. He also met with a number of heads of state and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

When he was on a transit in the Dubai airport, the president held a press conference on Indonesia`s efforts to cooperate with Switzerland on the recovery of Bank Century assets believed to have been stashed in that country.

During the press conference, the head of state also expressed concern over a train accident in Indonesia. He asked for investigation of the collision of Mutiara Selatan and Kota Jaya trains and for improvement of national railway system.

At Halim Perdanakusuma airport, the president was welcomed by Vice President Boediono and a number of cabinet ministers.(*)
