Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a meeting with an International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation here Wednesday to discuss the present global economic situation.

The meeting was held at the presidential office before the president headed to Soekarno-Hatta airport to welcome Indonesian nationals evacuated from the riot-torn Egypt.

The IMF delegation consisted of IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, IMF Director for Asia and Pacific Anoop Singh, Adviser Ernesto Ramirez Rigo and IMF Representative in Jakarta Milan Zavadjil.

Accompanying the president were Chief Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, Head of National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Armida Alisjahbana, Deputy Finance Minister Anny Ratnawati, Presidential Special Staff for International Relations Teuku Faizahsyah and Bank Indonesia (BI/central bank) Governor Darmin Nasution.(*)
