President installs new  Lemhanas governor

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono here Thursday installed Prof. Dr. Eng. Budi Susilo Soepandji as the new governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas).

Budi Susilo Soepandji replaced Muladi based on the presidential decree No. 128/P/2010 dated December 1, 2010.His previous post was director general of defense potentials at the defense ministry.

Muladi said his replacement was natural since he had been in the post for the last six years. It had been planned since four months ago, and not related to politics, he said.

Muladi became governor of Lemhannas in August 2005.

Among those present at the swearing-in ceremony were Vice President Boediono, Chairman of the People`s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Taufik Kiemas, Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) Admiral Agus Suhartono, and Chief of the National Police General Timur Pradopo.
