Surabaya, East Java (ANTARA News) - Deputy Chief Patron of the ruling Democrat Party (PD) Ahmad Mubarok said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would reshuffle his cabinet in a "rather significant" way in the near future.

"God wiling, the president will revamp his cabinet ministers in one or two days to come or in one to two seeks ahead," Mubarok said on the sidelines of a national congress of LDII here on Tuesday.

He said the reshuffle would be carried out in an effort "to restructure the cabinet in a rather significant way."

The senior PD cadre said the restructuring process had been carried out starting from the summonsing of ministers who were to be affected by the reshuffle.

The ministers` summonses were conducted by Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi and Chief Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa.

"Just wait, the president id to act. I cannot mention the names of ministers and political parties (that will be affected) but communications and summonsing are now in progress," he said.

Asked on the fate the Golkar Party and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), two members of the government coalition which were considered to have violated their commitments to the alliance, Mubarok said the matter depended on whether or not they had received summonses. "Just wait for the result (of the summonses). One thing for sure is that some parties will be excluded and other parties included. This is the president`s prerogative," he said.

On Thursday last week, PKS faction member in the House of Representatives (DPR), Rohmani said his party would not question the president`s plan to evaluate the government coalition.

"If the president implements the result of his evaluation it would not become a problem for us whether we are in the cabinet or outside. We have supported the tax mafia inquiry motion in an effort to secure the president`s agenda on good governance," he said.
