"It is possible for several adjustments to be made to make a new agreement. However it would all depend upon the final agreement made by the President and political party leaders. I could not as yet tell what the format would be like. I do not know yet," he said to newsmen at the presidential palace here on Tuesday evening.
Julian`s statement came following the meeting between the general chairman of Golkar Party, Aburizal Bakrie and President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the palace that day.
He said an understanding had been reached in the meeting acceptable by both parties namely the government and coalition party members.
"We will see what the decision will be that would certainly be presented by the President directly regarding the new formation of the coalition," he said.
Julian said in the past few weeks President focused on considering a new government`s coalition for the future. He said it was not impossible that a cabinet reshuffle would be done soon.
"Indeed no communication has not yet been done with some parties by the President such as for example with the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). Besides that there will certainly be other possibilities namely the President also communicating with other parties including those that have so far stayed outside the coalition," he said.
Asked about parties who wished to join the coalition Julian said he could not confirm but he assured if a party was invited or included in the coalition its representative would come on the occasion of cabinet reshuffle.
"Until now however frankly speaking I did not know yet whether there would be a change in the political party constellation, political constellation in the current context of political parties," he said.
Only the PKS that has not yet held communication with President Yudhoyono so far. "Indeed no communication has been made with PKS. I could not confirm (when) but it would certainly be done like with other political parties so far" he said.(*)
