According to Urdu TV ARY News, U.S. drones fired two missiles at a house in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, a place bordering Afghanistan and is believed to be a stronghold of militants.
This is the second attack in the last four hours. Earlier, a drone strike killed five people in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan.
U.S. attack in Datta Khel is the 16th of its kind in the northwestern tribal belt of the country since the beginning of this year.
Out of the 16 strikes, two took place in South Waziristan and the rest in North Waziristan. A total of 76 people, have reportedly been killed in such strikes since the beginning of this year.
There had been a lull in the U.S. drone strikes since the arrest of CIA contractor Raymond Davis in the east city of Lahore in January for the killing of two Pakistanis. Pakistani media had reported that the Davis mobile had some contacts in Waziristan tribal region.
