Tripoli (ANTARA News/AFP) - Libyan authorities denied their military kept up attacks on Friday despite having announced a ceasefire, after rebels reported "sustained shelling" in the towns of Zintan, Ajdabiya and Misrata.

"The armed forces are respecting the announced ceasefire and the commitment to protect civilians, and have not carried out any military operations" since the ceasefire announcement, a military source told AFP. (*)
