"Yes they are part of people who had been arrested as terrorists," chief spokesman for Polda Metro Jaya Senior Commissioner Baharudin Djafar said here Monday.
Baharudin said the 12 were part 20 terrorist suspects who had been arrested by anti-terrorism squad Densus 88.
They arrived at the police detention center at 11.15 am, on eight cars. Baharudin said he has no idea about the identities of the 12 people.
Previously, the anti-terrorism squad had caught 20 people suspected involved in the book bomb package and the planned bombing in Summarecon Gading Serpong, Tangerang, Banten, some time ago.
The police have caught some of the perpetrators in Pondok Kopi (East Jakarta), Bekasi (West Java), Gunung Sindur in Bogor (West Java) and in Aceh.(*)
