Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received a visit by Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong at Merdeka Palace, here, Monday.

Prime Minister Thammavong is in Jakarta for the 18th ASEAN Summit which was held on May 7-8, 2011.

The two leaders had a bilateral meeting. In the meeting, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers, the Police Chief and the Commander of the National Defense Forces (TNI).

Laos and Indonesia are members of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).(*)
