"The five suspects r are Yadi Al Hasan, Ahmad Yosefa Hayat, Beni Asri, Nanang Irawan and Heru Komarudin," head of the National Police`s public relations bureau Inspector General Anton Bachrul Alam said here on Thursday.
Ahmad Yosefa was a would-be suicide bomber who was about to carry out his jihad mission while Beni Asri was a keeper of terror bombs and Heru Komarudin a suicide bomb maker.
Nanang Irawan who was linked to a bomb threat in Klaten, Central Java, had given training in bomb assembling while Yadi Al Hassan had hidden the suspect in the Klaten bomb threat incident and had also given training.
"In connection with the suicide bombing of the Adz Zikra mosque (in the Cirebon police compound) we have so far arrested 16 people. Three of them are dead, including Mohammad Syarif, the suicide bomber," he said.
Terror suspects in police custody now were Achmad Basuki, Arief Budiman, Andri Siswanto, Musolah, Ishak Andriana, Edi Triwiyanto, Ari Budi Santoso, Nobita, Jahim, Dzulkifli Lubis, Eko Ibrahim, Mardiansyah and Arifin.
"The two who were killed during a firefight with the police in Sukoharjo (Central Java) are Sigit Qurdowi and Hendro," he said.
Mohammad Syarif conducted a suicide bombing at the Cirebon city police station compound during Friday prayers on April 15, 2011 killing himself and wounding other attendants including chief of the Cirebon city police.
Upon further investigation into the case police also arrested Basuki, a younger brother of Mohammady Syarif, for alleged involvement in the bombing.
Anton e also said that the police were also searching for 15 active bombs believed to be kept by the five wanted suspects.
"We believe there are still 15 active bombs (kept by them) in addition to seven that have been found in the Soka river in Cirebon," he said.
In view of that he called on the people to inform the police in case they saw those people.(*)
