"The Law Center is very useful for the people in West Sulawesi to get services concerning immigration, community, notary, human rights and legal advocacy. It should be optimally used as the services are provided free of charge," Minister Patrialis Akbar said.
He said he had several agenda during the visit in West Sulawesi, among other things the inauguration of law-aware village, the signing of 17 MoUs between the law and human rights ministry and the West Sulawesi district court, public attorney offices and police.
"The MoUs will be implemented to synchronize the criminal justice system by prioritizing human rights protection and public justice in West Sulawesi," he said.
The law enforcement must be implemented optimally for the sake of the interest of the people wanting to get optimal legal services, the minister said.
The function was attended by among others West Sulawesi Governor Anwar Adnan Saleh, Deputy Governor of West Sulawesi Amri Sanusi, Speaker of the West Sulawesi Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Hamsah Hapati Hasan, West Sulawesi Police Chief Ins. Gen. Johny Wainal Usman, and a number of district heads in the province.(*)
