"The President is slated to attend Family Day celebrations," head of the Population and Family Planning Agency Sugiri Syarief said when on a working visit here on Tuesday.
He said that actually Family Day falls on June 29, but as it is a holiday, for practical reasons it will be observed on June 30.
He added that this year`s observance means that Indonesia will have celebrated the event 18 times.
Sugiri also said that the celebrations on June 30 will be the turn of West Bandung to host the event.
He added that the theme of the observance this year is "Fostering Population and Family Planning".(*)
