Cikeas, West Java (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in his capacity as chief of the Democrat Party`s advisory council held a meeting with all members of the party faction in the House of Representatives (DPR) at his private residence here on Wednesday.

Party spokesman Ruhut Sitompul said to newsmen minutes before entering the meeting room that the meeting was a routine one and just for a friendly gathering with the chief patron.

"This is consolidation. We will get directives from the chief. It is a routine thing," he said.

He said such a meeting had often been held as a forum of communication for party members.

Ruhut said all Democrat Party faction members in the House of Representatives numbering 148 attended the meeting in addition to members of the executive and advisory boards so that in all around 200 party people had gathered at the President`s residence.(*)
