Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-Owned Enterprise Ministry named Army Chief Gen. George Toisutta as chief commissioner of state-owned ammunition and arms manufacturer PT Pindad, replacing Gen. Agustadi Sasongko Purnomo.

The appointment of Toisutta was made coinciding with the assignment of other strategic state firms` chief commissioners, namely ship-building firm PT PAL, aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara, PT Dahana and railways company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

Toisutta was installed by State Enterprise Minister Mustafa Abubakar.

Mustafa said that his ministry in its capacity as holder of state firms` shares viewed Toisutta as a capable person that could advance PT Pindad ahead.(*)
