"To build the road, some 2,000 square meters will have to be reclaimed," head of the Balikpapan development agency Suryanto said on Thursday.
He said a special team is already in place to discuss the coastal reclamation project.
Suryanto said the project will cost Rp3 trillion. The budget will not be drawn from the Balikpapan or East Kalimantan budgetm, but to be provided by third parties or investors.
