Jakarta, July 12 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the company of First Lady Ani Yudhoyono left Halim Perdanakusuma airport at 1 on Tuesday afternoon for Yogyakarta for a working visit until Thursday.

Aboard a presidential aircraft, the head of state, along with his entourage, was scheduled to arrive at Adi Sucipto airport in Yogyakarta an hour later.

During the working visit, the president will visit Military Academy in Magelang and Air Force Academy in Yogyakarta to attend a Prasetia Perwira function and the inauguration of military students graduating from the Military Academy, Air Force Academy, and Naval Academy.

According to data from TNI Information Center, the number of new TNI officers to be inaugurated by the president was respectively 295 from Military Academy, 216 from Naval Academy, and 124 from Air Force Academy to make an overall number of 635 personnel.

The inauguration will take place at Mako Aerospace Field in front of Yogyakarta Air Force Academy on Thursday.

Since 2004, the inaugurations of the new military cadets no longer took place at Presidential Palace in Jakarta but were conducted in rotation at each academy.

Before leaving for Yogyakarta, President Yudhoyono attended the peak event of Cooperative Day at Senayan sports stadium in Jakarta.

The President and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono arrived at Senayan at 10 am, and after stopping for a while at a special room, the head of state entered the venue.

On the occasion the head of state was accompanied by State Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Syarif Hasan.

Also present were a number of ministers, among others Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono, Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi, Religious Minister Suryadharma Ali, Communications and Information Minister Tifatul Sembiring, and Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu.
